Facebook Wants You to Be Heard!
With the popularity of audio for podcasts and social media audio apps like Clubhouse, Facebook has decided to get fully in the game and wants to be your one stop shop everything app for text, images, video and now audio.
Facebook is rolling out a full spectrum of tools to make it easy to record, share, and participate in audio experiences. They want everyone to have a sound studio in their pocket.
With these new audio tools, they want you to create what they’re calling “Soundbites” — these are short-form, audio clips for anecdotes and stories, jokes, or inspirational sayings.
They also announced that within the next few months, you’ll be able to listen to podcasts directly on the Facebook app, and participate in “Live Audio Rooms”, where you can talk or just listen in real time. Will you be listening?

There’s no denying that video generates engagement on Facebook and Instagram, but planning out your videos can make your content stop the scroll!
How do you make your videos more effective? People only watch the first 10 – 15 seconds of your video, so use that time to capture their attention. Use eye-catching footage or a headline hook.
Most people watch video with the sound off, so having captions is important. Also, don’t forget your call to action.
Creating a script beforehand will help you figure out the flow of your videos to maximize engagement and get your audience to take action.

YouTube is the second most used search engine next to Google, so should you be using YouTube to promote your business?
