Use Automation to Deliver a Better Experience
Do you sometimes not have enough time to properly follow up on prospects, or to get new customers onboarded with the attention you’d like? What if every person got your best you? You can use automated, or pre-scheduled, emails to build “know-like-trust” with your audience.
Think about how often you tell customers or prospects the same information specific to their interest. So, how can you take that information and create an effective autoresponder? Autoresponders can welcome people to your list, onboard new clients, or follow up on a product or service inquiry. Deliver your best information in a consistent, timely format. Our newest podcast delves into some strategies and examples you’ll want to use.
Let us help you save some time and give your customers a better experience.
Can YouTube Take on TikTok?
Short video clips like TikTok and Instagram Reels are all the rage right now and YouTube hopes to get in the game with their short-form video option called YouTube Shorts.
YouTube Shorts are part of the YouTube app, and there’s a new button to view them there. You can also create shorts in the app. Tap the Create button, and then you basically use the Record button like you normally do when shooting a video with your phone. You can easily add music, text, and and filter effects.
Any content can be successful as a short video, just be relatable, authentic, and interesting or informative for your viewers.
LinkedIn Gets a Boost
LinkedIn has a couple of new features that lets you more easily expand your reach beyond people you already know.
You now have the option to “boost” well-performing posts on your company page. This is a simpler way to advertise on LinkedIn and a way to test expanding outside your immediate network. LinkedIn is also adding new features including easier registration and streaming for virtual events.
Growing your audience doesn’t have to be difficult, but make sure you know who you are trying to reach and what they are looking for.
Apple Mail Privacy Protection
This fall Apple will roll out Mail Privacy Protection with iOS 15. This new feature gives users additional privacy protections, but will prevent email marketers from using invisible pixels to track recipients who use Apple’s Mail app, whether that’s for iPhone, iPad, Mac computers, or Apple Watch.
When someone opens an email, an invisible pixel graphic is loaded which can be used to determine who opens an email. The open rates on your email marketing campaigns will become less reliable. Other features like the ability to send an email to non-openers will also be impacted.
Creating a great call to action is now more important than ever. You can also encourage email replies to get a better idea of what is resonating with your audience.
Save Time with a Content Plan
Great content creation can be time consuming. But starting with a plan and knowing your strategy can save you time and get you better results.
There are a few things that will help you get into the marketing habit:
- Create an overall plan so you know what content works for your audience
- For social media, create a mix of topics and use the 80/20 rule
- Separate planning and execution
- Batch tasks like recording, graphics and writing
- Use templates
- Schedule your posts in advance
Your goal is to grow your audience, increase your brand awareness, show your expertise, and improve engagement with your followers.
