It’s 2023, and if you haven’t yet, it is time to start using video. In today’s Tech News Tuesday episode we’re talking about some of the latest tools from Meta to help you with video content. Are you using these Instagram and Facebook features that help make it easier?
Create Clips from Longer Video
Creator Studio lets you clip longer videos to make Reels
In Facebook, you can use one of your existing longer videos to make a new Story or Reel. The new story highlight clipping tool in Creator Studio allows you to create short clips of your published videos from a text transcript generated from the video’s audio. You can choose the clips you want or have it automatically generate clips for you.
Schedule Your Instagram Content from Your App
Instagram lets you schedule Reels and other content right in the Instagram app
In the Instagram app on your phone, you can finally schedule your reels, photos and carousel posts up to 75 days in advance, all from within the Instagram app. This is a huge time-saver for sure!
You Don’t Need Expensive Equipment
Creating valuable video content doesn’t mean you have to go out and buy expensive cameras or equipment. Learn how to use your smartphone camera to capture the story of your business. This content can include customers, events, new products, tips, how to’s, success stories, or meet the team, but people love video today.
Creating valuable video content doesn’t require expensive equipment and software as long as the content resonates with your audience.
Many formats of video work. If you don’t want to appear on camera (although you should get comfortable with this as well), you can use a series of photos or short video clips with text captions, voiceover or some catchy music. Whether you are doing short videos or longer ones, you just have to figure out what it is your audience wants to know. Wrapping that in a story will help them remember the information and you.
The bottom line is this, creating videos can seem intimidating at first, but gets easier with practice and a plan. Using storytelling in your video marketing is a good way to give people the experience that they are looking for today.
