In today’s Tech News Tuesday episode we’re talking about Instagram’s announcement that soon there’ll be an option to save your Instagram Stories as drafts, so you can post them at a later date.
Bob: That’s right Donna, this is a big deal because within Instagram when you want to post Stories, you create and post it immediately.
Donna: Yes, there isn’t an easy way to plan out a story that you will post later. This is really great because you know I’m all about planning your content and managing your time effectively.
Bob: True. And don’t forget that Instagram Stories will disappear 24 hours after uploading them, but that doesn’t mean they have to be gone forever. You can download them from your phone.
Donna: Now Instagram hasn’t said when exactly this new Stories option will be released, but it is coming soon. It’ll be worth experimenting with it to see how it can help you in your process. You can already schedule your Instagram feed posts within Facebook Creator Studio, but Stories are a great option for getting more engagement.
Bob: That’s it for today’s episode. You can find a link to the Social Media Today article and a transcript of today’s podcast, at DelosInc.com/180.
