Bob: That’s right Donna and while the most popular advertising platforms are Google and Facebook, LinkedIn may be a good choice for certain types of businesses, you know, the ones designed for careers and business professionals that connect.
Donna: Another reason it hasn’t been as popular is that the platform has been very difficult to use. LinkedIn’s heard this and has just launched an on-demand video course series called LinkedIn Marketing Labs. This series will teach marketers how to use the LinkedIn Ad tools.
Bob: There are six courses covering the basics including an introduction to LinkedIn Ads, how to use LinkedIn ad targeting, and reporting and analytics for LinkedIn Ads. The courses are all set up to be interactive, with text and video, so that really makes it easy.
Donna: They’re also on-demand so you can take it whenever you want. If your audience uses LinkedIn and you want to be able to target by professional profile, things like job title, industry or function, LinkedIn might be a good advertising opportunity for you, and LinkedIn just made it easier to get started.
