Bob: Hi, I’m Bob Clark.
Donna: And I’m Donna Botti. We’re with Delos Inc and we make the web work for you. In today’s Tech News Tuesday episode, we’re going to talk about some updates to the Facebook Creator Studio.
Bob: Facebook launched Creator Studio about a year ago, primarily as a way to help you do more things with a video, like stickers on live video and analytics for your videos. A lot of people haven’t heard of it, however, as you use this tool right from your desktop.
Donna: Creator Studio allows you to track and manage content performance, even across different pages. So if you manage multiple pages, you can see everything in one place, and it provides insights on how your audience interacts with the content from your fans.
Bob: You will want to check it though, for the new Instagram features which have been added. Facebook Creator Studio also manages scheduling your posts, and while you have been able to schedule Facebook posts natively in Facebook for a while now, being able to natively schedule your Instagram posts is something you could not do without using a third-party app.
Donna: You’ll have to have an Instagram business profile and have it linked to your business Facebook page to take advantage of Instagram scheduling. Another neat feature is that you can schedule your videos to appear on IGTV, which is Instagram’s long form video app.
One feature that’s still missing is the ability to schedule Instagram stories, but hopefully that capability will be added in the future.
Bob: That’s it for today’s episode. You can find a link to the Facebook Creator Studio and a transcript of today’s episode at DelosInc.com/107.
