2019 DIGITAL MARKETING TRENDS
Wondering what key digital marketing trends you should take advantage of in 2019?
Social media changes, video, and an emphasis on content are some of the trends you should be aware of. Is Facebook peaking? Is it time to get serious about video – especially live video? Also, don’t forget that your content still matters most.
What is your focus for 2019? Do you know who your ideal customer is and how to reach them?
MOBILE-FIRST SEARCH RESULTS
Google announced in December that over half of the pages shown in search results globally are a result of mobile-first indexing.
Mobile-first indexing means that how your page ranks in Google is based on how it performs on mobile devices. This can affect your rankings if your desktop pages and mobile pages are different.
Believe it or not, some websites are still not mobile-friendly. Google looks for responsive, fast and secure sites when determining rankings. Do you measure up? We can help.
COLOR TRENDS
Think of digital media like fashion. Seeing the same look over and over again gets boring, and different people have different styles.
This year should be full of bright, vivid colors like lime greens and pinks. If the bright colors aren’t your style, earth tones are also emerging as a top trend. You can also add a sense of luxury to your media by adding gold to your images.
Do your images grab your audience’s attention? Strengthen your designs by staying up-to-date on trends that resonate with your target audience.
GET DISCOVERED
YouTube is a great way to promote your business using video, but it takes more than just uploading your video.
Before you even publish your video you should have a plan in place to create a buzz. Use these tips to get the most out of the video content you create. Don’t forget that building a strong following takes time!

REGRAM RULES
Have you seen a great photo on Instagram that you think your audience would like? Sharing someone else’s post is called a Regram.
Right now Instagram doesn’t have a repost option like the Facebook share button or Twitter retweet button. You can “regram” a photo, but make sure to abide by regram etiquette. Don’t remix the original photo by adding different filters and always make sure to give photo credit to the original creator.
