ARE YOU SECURE?
Since July of 2018, Google has marked HTTP sites as, “not secure” and it’s making more of an impact than you might think.
In a recent survey, nearly half of website users experienced a bad reaction to a “not secure” warning from a website. Either they didn’t want to enter personal information or left the site immediately.
Your website’s security speaks to your brand’s reputation. If your website comes with a “not secure” warning what does that say about your business? Check your site, and plan to convert to secure HTTPS if you aren’t there today.
20 WAYS TO PROMOTE YOUR EVENT ON SOCIAL MEDIA
Social media offers many opportunities to promote your upcoming events.
Decide which social media platforms your audience uses. If it’s Facebook, you can create an event and promote on your page or with paid ads. On Instagram and Twitter you can post photos of testimonials or create event specific hashtags. Don’t forget video generates greater engagement than images alone and can be promoted across many channels.
Are you promoting your events on social media? Target your audience on the platforms they use all the time.
THE MINIMUM VIABLE AUDIENCE
If you could pick the smallest possible group to sustain your business who would that be?
When planning your digital marketing strategy you must first consider who is your audience. With so many messages out there, it’s easy to tune out ones which are not relevant. The more specific your audience, the better results you’ll get. When you target your minimum viable audience you’ll find the group is a lot larger than you think and they’ll tell others.
Who is your audience? How does your organization solve their problems and what sets you apart from your competitors? Take some time to answer these questions for your business.
ESSENTIALS FOR YOUR ABOUT PAGE
According to a recent study about 52% of website visitors want to see your About page. Does your About page tell your story?
The About page on your website is an opportunity to convince website visitors why they should do business with you. Create an About page that gives your visitors a transparent view of your business and answers the questions they’re asking.
Generally, we see that About page traffic usually ranks right behind the home page as the most visited page of our customers’ sites.
