With the shift to mobile internet use from desktop use, you want your customers to be able to easily contact you. Adding clickable phone numbers and email addresses is a best practice that makes it more convenient for customers to get in touch.
Click to Call
- Type the phone number in the WordPress editor in your text
- Highlight the phone number, and click the Link icon as if you were adding a URL link
- In the Link dialog box, type tel: then the corresponding phone number
- Click the Enter icon to add the telephone
Click to Email
- Type the email address or the text you want to make clickable in the WordPress editor
- Highlight the text you entered, and click the Link icon as if you were adding a URL
- In the Link dialog box, type mailto: then the corresponding email address
- Click the Enter icon to add the email link
