Sometimes you want to offer a document to a customer or prospect but not make it available as a link on your website. You may be offering a special download for signing up for your email list or have a form that you want your customers to fill out. WordPress allows you to store the files and provide a URL link that you can send to those who need it. Just follow these simple steps:
- From your WordPress dashboard, select Media
- Just drag and drop the file you want into your media library
- Click on the file you want to select the URL
Send this URL via email and the recipient can access the file directly
