EDUCATE YOUR AUDIENCE
Did you know over half of YouTube users use the site to figure out how to do new things?
A recent Pew study looked at how people are using YouTube. Both regular users and non-users visit the site to learn new things. Did you know YouTube is also the number two search engine? The study also looked at other uses including children’s programming.
Do you have a plan to educate your audience and convert them to customers? Start by addressing the questions and problems you already answer for them, then make it available to a wider audience on YouTube.
WHAT DOES THIS MEAN FOR YOU?
Google Maps is adding a “Follow” button to business listings. When someone follows a business updates are sent to the user’s “For You” tab.
Once a user clicks the “Follow” button for your business, they will be notified about the posts and offers you create in Google My Business. This is another way to connect with your prospects and customers in their everyday searches.
Are you taking advantage of Google My Business Posts yet? The new “Follow” button gives you even more reason to start.
PARTY ESSENTIALS
A Facebook Watch Party allows users to watch a video simultaneously together with other members of their Facebook Groups.
Facebook Watch Parties encourage active participation with eight times as many comments than non-live videos in Groups. Not ready to go live? Facebook now gives you the option to post prerecorded videos in Parties. Also, group members can have active conversations and you can provide commentary with the threaded comments feature.
Social media is supposed to be just that, social. Facebook Watch Parties give you the option to engage your customers and prospects in a fun way, but also personalize your content by groups.
